Global Goodwill Ambassadors (GGA) recognize good people across the world performing humanitarian work while promoting initiatives to serve the people who need them most. GGA community believe in taking action with urgency in order to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing today’s society. Richard DiPilla, who is the founder of GGA community, started this community with a belief that the value of human kindness is immeasurable and he feels proud that GGA community has become a beacon of light for so many good-hearted people from around the world. With this initiative, his goal is to promote great opportunities for those in need. Keeping with the high spirits of GGA theme GGA team of Singapore served and raised awareness about various causes which need utter attention from every human. As an online media partner, Womenlines takes pleasure to share about the experience in the words of GGA herself and chairperson GGA Singapore MS Shuchi-
Happiness is about loving who you are and where you’re at in life. No outside source can give you true happiness.
Global Goodwill Ambassadors Singapore team is working together to not only create awareness about the topics like health, happiness, child abuse, diversity, inclusion, elderly care and empowerment but also taking constructive actions to make this world a better place for all.
Our Global Goodwill Ambassador Mr Satyaprakash Tiwari organised a ‘Health and Happiness Symposium’ on World Health Day at West Coast Community Centre, Singapore.
Global Goodwill Ambassadors Youssef Saheb Bakhsh and Puja Talesara supported the event and served the community with dedication. We also visited Migrant Worker’s Dormitory at Tuas and conducted Health talks. Youssef Saheb Baksh and Kasthuri Gunasegaran supported the talks with translations.
Kasthuri shared “The visit to the dormitory is still vivid. I was happy from within that we reached out to the workers who come from their homes far away and toil for their families here. We definitely filled the air with so much laughter. Words cannot express the satisfaction in bringing happiness to them.”
Other highlights of the days are-
1. Child Abuse Prevention programme was conducted for 150 students
2. Social Practitioners were guided to learn how to Prevent Burnouts
3. Heartlanders were given tips on Anxiety Management
4. Our team will attend the Global Goodwill Ambassadors Italy meeting virtually
I feel blessed to be a humanitarian who is connected with many wonderful humanitarians of this world through Richard DiPilla (Founder Global Goodwill Ambassador (GGA) and Lisa Zones (Executive President and COO of GGA).
We believe in taking actions and changing the world!!!
