Kit Lim is a highly experienced DEI expert with a strong background in commercial and people development. She firmly believes in the importance of employee experience in delivering a great client experience and is well-versed in diversity and inclusion, employee well-being, engagement and culture, and internal communications.
Kit is currently the global head of culture, diversity, equity and inclusion at a global maritime company. She is a strong believer of great EX (employee experience) leads to great CX (client experience) and that building a great place to work where employees thrive is key to unlocking human potential. She had previously spent more than 12 years in the legal industry focusing on international business development work and marketing communications. She also had prior stints in the IT, F&B and professional services sectors. She is recognized as a Thinkfluencer by Tigerhall, a social learning platform and is also the co-chair of Primetime Business and Professional Women’s Association Mindfulness and Wellbeing signature interest group. She also serves on the D&I Committees of the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore and the Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA).

Kit is also a strong advocate for personal well-being and mindfulness, which she actively promotes within the workplace. She is passionate about inspiring others to strive for a healthy work-life balance and recognizes the importance of self-care for mental and emotional well-being.

Outside of work, Kit enjoys practising yoga, meditating, reading, and engaging in personal self-development. She is also an active member of the Primetime Women Association, serving as the mindfulness and wellbeing co-chair. Additionally, she is involved in various youth mentoring and volunteering programs, including the Halogen Foundation, Advisory, and Youth Mental Well-being Network.
